My Story

I'm running the Great North Run in 2025 to raise funds for Red Sky Foundation.

It will be my 9th GNR, 2nd running with my daughter Amy and 1st one running with  my Son Charles. A team effort.  #TeamWhitefield 

Planned Races .so far for me  ..

- Saturn Running Durham Half  - March 2025 (my 11th Half Race) COMPLETED 

- Vienna City Half -  6 April 2025 with Amy  (my 12th Half race, Amy's 3rd Half Race) COMPLETED 

- Pier to Pier Run c. 7 miles - 17 May 2025 COMPLETED 

- Blaydon Races - Nearly a 10k but not quite  - 9 June 2025 COMPLETED 

- 22 June 2025 - 13th Half - Saturn Running at Herrington Park COMPLETED (13th so far) 

-6 July 2025 - 14 Half Marathon - Saturn Running at Durham COMPLETED (14th half) 

-August 2025 - Lambton Castle 10 mile RACE - COMPLETED WITH Charles

- August 22025 - Durham Saturn Half Run COMPLETED with Charles (my 15th Half) 

- Great North Run  Half - Sept 2025  - my 9th GNR) With Charles (1st GNR 2nd Half)  & Amy (2nd GNR, 4th Half Race)
