My Story

Sunday 3rd March 2024 

Hi I'm James and I run The North East Non-League Show which is a Facebook Page and YouTube Channel https://youtube.com/@nenonleagueshow

We help cover the local Non-League football teams, support them and give them a platform to get their news shared.

Apart of our Channel we do a show called "Looking Back With" and we get local former Managers/Players to chat about their time in the game. They brilliant with so many funny stories and good memories! One name that is mentioned in almost every episode is Gary Pearson! 

Gaz was a local Manager/Player who played for a number of teams over the years. A player who wore his heart of his sleeve and loved every part of the game especially a good tackle! You speak to anyone who follows local football and everyone will have a story to tell about Gaz. Sadly Gary passed away in 2022. 

We spoke with Gary's daughters and through the game he loved we hoping to raise £200 for the Red Sky Foundation a Charity which means a lot to Gary's family!

On the day my Son and Daugther Parker & Sophia will do a mile run before the big game later in the day!
